Because 1cP-AL/LAD was only recently synthesized, little is known. Because the metabolism occurs on the same indole as that of 1cP–LSD and 1P–LSD to LSD, it is presumed to be a prodrug of AL–LAD. AL-LAD’s N-allyl substructure is located on the “ethylamine nitrogen”, an atom which is extremely distant and should not have any effect on the enzymematic reaction. Therefore, steric hindrance seems very unlikely.
