4-HO-DPT or 4-hydroxy-N,N-dipropyltryptamine or Procin is a member of the Tryptamine class. 4-HO-DPT produces cognitive changes similar to those expected from psychedelics of the Tryptamine group. Alexander Shulgan, the father of Psychedelics, first synthesized 4-HO-DPT.

4-HO-DPT or 4-hydroxy-N,N-dipropyltryptamine, is part of the Tryptamine class. It is a synthetic indole molecular of the class. All Tryptamines share a common core structure. It is composed of a bicyclic, heterocyclic indole heterocyclic that can be attached at R3 and an amino group using an ethyl sidechain. The 4-HO-DPT is specifically substituted at R4 in its indole heterocycle by a hydroxyl functional groups OH–. Two propyl chains are connected to the RN and bound to the tryptamine backbone. 4-HO-DPT can be described as an N-substituted, dipropyl homolog to psilocin (4-4-HO-DMT).
